This strategic Director, HR Business Partner role supports executives leading customer-facing and corporate functions globally. The individual will act as a strategic thought partner, advising senior executives and developing people strategies to meet business demands and navigate organizational change. Key responsibilities include driving talent strategy, fostering innovation, and executing a Human Capital Plan to enhance team effectiveness, leveraging data and collaborating with Talent Acquisition, Talent Enablement, and People Analytics.
Must have:
  • 15+ years of progressive HRBP experience in global, matrixed organizations, supporting executive leaders.
  • Proven success as a trusted advisor and thought partner to C-suite leaders, with gravitas and influence.
  • Expertise in organizational strategy and change management.
  • Strategic, data-driven growth mindset to translate insights into action.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and a natural ability to build relationships.
  • Innate ability to prioritize and deliver high-impact results.
  • A sense of humor combined with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to travel internationally 4-5 times per year (primarily London & Tokyo) and additional domestic trips.
  • Ability to work onsite at the San Mateo campus 1-2 times per week.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Job Details

We seek a strategic Director, HR Business Partner to join our global People team and make a lasting impact by supporting executives who lead customer-facing and corporate functions within our business. Reporting to the Senior Director, HRBP for Sales, Marketing and Corporate Functions, you will act as a strategic thought partner and advisor to senior executives, developing a people strategy that delivers business demands. You will support leaders navigating the complexity of change as the organization continues to grow and evolve.

This role offers the opportunity to work globally, influencing leaders as we build the future. You will drive the talent strategy plan and play a pivotal role in enabling team innovation and success. You will advocate for ongoing learning, innovation and collaboration within teams. As the HRBP, you lead the development and execution of a Human Capital Plan (HCP) that enables transformation and improves team effectiveness. Like data? We've got it. You will collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Talent Enablement and People Analytics to develop and deploy evidence-based, proactive solutions for your business.

Requirements

  • Ability to travel internationally 4-5 times per year with business leaders as required (primarily London & Tokyo) with potential for additional domestic trips.
  • Onsite at our San Mateo campus 1-2 times/week (client dependent).
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.

We consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location. Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this role is eligible for a top-tier benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, matching 401(k), paid time off, wellness program and coveted employee discounts for products.
