The Director of Accounts, Influencer Marketing at AMG leads and oversees the Accounts department, ensuring successful influencer marketing campaigns for gaming industry clients. Responsibilities include managing a team of Account Managers, acting as the primary client contact, developing campaign strategies, negotiating agreements, and driving revenue growth. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills, along with a deep understanding of influencer marketing and the gaming industry. The successful candidate will own departmental KPIs, provide coaching and mentorship, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to exceed client expectations.

Job Overview

As the Director of Accounts, Influencer Marketing at AMG, you will play a vital role in leading and overseeing the Accounts department, ensuring the success of influencer marketing campaigns and strategic initiatives for our gaming industry clients. Your strong leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills, combined with a deep understanding of influencer marketing and the gaming industry, will be pivotal in scaling operations and ensuring client satisfaction.


Your main responsibility will be to oversee the execution and strategy of influencer marketing campaigns and events while ensuring exceptional client service and account growth. You will lead a team of Account Managers and Senior Account Managers, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results that exceed client expectations and align with the brand's vision and goals.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead and oversee a team of Account Managers and Senior Account Managers, ensuring their growth and performance.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, building long-term relationships and ensuring their strategic objectives are met.
  • Develop and implement best practices for campaign execution, client communications, and internal processes.
    Oversee influencer marketing campaigns and events, ensuring successful execution.
  • Provide coaching, performance feedback, and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Manage high-stakes conversations with clients, negotiating agreements and securing upsells to drive revenue growth.
  • Own departmental KPIs, including client retention, revenue growth, and campaign performance analysis.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of marketing solutions, aligning with client needs and business objectives.
  • Develop and communicate quarterly performance insights and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
    Collaborate with internal teams to drive process improvements, resource allocation, and operational efficiencies.


Qualifications

Required:

  • 4+ years of experience in the gaming industry, specializing in influencer marketing, account management, or client services, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels, including C-level executives.
  • Proven experience in delivering client-focused solutions, growing key accounts, and driving revenue expansion.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority accounts and team initiatives simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong negotiation, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Deep understanding of the gaming industry, with a focus on influencer marketing campaigns.
