Must have:

  • 2+ years of experience in Human Resources or HR Operations.
  • Working knowledge of HR systems/platforms.
  • Experience managing benefits programs and coordinating performance review cycles.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Job Overview:

We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Manager to join our team. This position plays a critical role in maintaining and improving our internal HR systems, ensuring employee records and processes are accurate and timely, and supporting a culture of performance and growth. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in HR best practices and is excited to take ownership of core HR operations.

Key Job Responsibilities:

The job responsibilities of the position are to be performed with regular exercise of discretion and independent judgment pursuant to AMG management policies and business operation guidelines. The following list outlines, in general, your job duties.

  • HR Systems Management: Maintain and optimize our internal platform, ensuring accurate employee data, seamless onboarding/offboarding workflows, and streamlined reporting.
  • Benefits Administration: Oversee employee benefits programs (healthcare, PTO, etc.), handle open enrollment, and serve as the primary point of contact for benefits-related inquiries.
  • Performance Management: Ensure timely execution of performance review cycles, provide tools and support for managers, and track documentation and outcomes.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files and HR documentation in line with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Employee Support: Provide day-to-day HR support to staff, addressing questions and guiding employees and managers through policies and procedures.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to improve HR operations, tools, and employee experience.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in Human Resources or HR Operations
  • Working knowledge of HR systems/ platforms
  • Experience managing benefits programs and coordinating performance review cycles
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • HR certifications are a plus (ex: PHR, HRCI, SHRM etc)
