Job Summary
As the Director of Consultant Relations, you will manage and enhance relationships within the consulting and brokerage community. You will collaborate with Partnerships and Sales leadership and internal departments to align strategic priorities with market influencer insights, ensuring consistent messaging. Your responsibilities include educating industry consultants on digital MSK therapy solutions through various communication channels, building a pipeline of opportunities, and providing regular forecasts. You will be working alongside 900+ (and growing!) talented colleagues. You will also be responsible for driving Sword’s relationships with key contacts in the consulting/brokerage community and educating consultants on digital MSK therapy solutions.
Must Have
- 6+ years of experience with major benefits consulting firms
- Strong sales and prospecting skills

Job Description
What you'll be doing:
- Drives Sword’s relationships with key contacts in the consulting/brokerage community to ensure a strong preference and comprehensive understanding about our solutions and capability
- Collaborates with key groups at Sword (product, marketing, sales, account management) to ensure our priorities are informed by needs and priorities expressed by market influencers
- Partners closely with Sales and Customer Success to ensure consistency of message across various touch-points and assist RVPs in sourcing early stage opportunities associated with owned accounts
- Educates consultants on our digital MSK therapy solution through response to leads, direct outbound contact, social media, face-to-face/web demonstrations, lunch & learns, and email campaigns
- Document, map, and cultivate key contacts and offices within each firm
- Articulate Sword differentiators and value prop in general, and when appropriate, on employer-specific opportunities
- Maximize the value of Sword participation in various firm-specific vendor management initiatives.
- Facilitate periodic top-to-top meetings to discuss trends, successes, and opportunities to grow together
- Facilitate annual cycle of meetings to further relationships and build understanding of Sword solutions and capabilities
- Coordinate Sword participation in events sponsored by the consulting firms which further our mutual business opportunities
- Build pipeline of qualified opportunities for designated markets
- Provide regular, accurate forecasts and update lead status using Salesforce.com
- Manage our Alliance Team’s Salesforce.com database for your specific firms
What you need to have:
- Has 6+ years of experience interfacing with major benefits consulting firms, for example - Willis Towers Watson, Aon, Mercer, Lockton, Gallagher, USI, HUB, MMA, etc.
- Strong sales and prospecting prowess. This role requires creating new and perpetuating existing relationships in order to generate sales opportunities.
- Demonstrated experience in rapport building, business development and pipeline generation.
- Excellent presentation skills
- Is a hard working, self-motivated person with an itch to be a part of an emerging AI med-tech startup
- Is intellectually curious with sophisticated communication skills
- Has demonstrated the ability to learn complex enterprise software solutions and use that knowledge to sell to prospects
- Has experience with Salesforce or similar CRM
