Job Summary
Sword Health is seeking a Senior Android Engineer to join their Mobile Technology team in Porto. This role involves taking ownership of work, contributing to problem-solving with defined solutions, collaborating effectively, and participating in core team processes. The engineer will also communicate with the product team to define requirements and improve specifications, contributing to Sword Health's mission of shifting healthcare to an AI-first platform.
Must Have
- More than 5 years of experience in developing Android Applications
- Proficiency in Android and its life cycle
- Experience with Kotlin
- Experience with Dependency Injection
- Good understanding of REST API integration
- Good knowledge of Android Components
- Firebase and Crashlytics
- Frameworks/SDK integration in mobile apps
- Proficiency in Coroutines
- Experience with unit tests
- Ability to use AI tools and techniques to enhance productivity

Job Description
What you'll be doing:
- Ownership and accountability of work, being able to write and speak clearly, sharing relevant information to project and gain of self-awareness;
- Able to execute defined and prioritized tasks within the scope of team with specific guidance from manager/TL;
- Focus on contributing to solve problems with defined solutions, receiving others perspectives and feedback, besides effectively collaborating to get work done;
- Able to understand and effectively participate in the core processes of the team (planning, on-call rotations, bug triage, metrics review, etc.), with high standard excellence of work;
- Early learning on the Interview and Recruitment Process;
- Communicates with product team to define requirements and improve specifications.
