Director, Quality Assurance

At Aristocrat, we are looking for an outstanding Director of Quality Assurance to join our team in Sofia, Bulgaria. Main Duties And Responsibilities

• Develop and manage test plans and test scripts for new and existing game themes and operating systems, with at least 20% hands-on involvement.
• Coordinate and monitor defect reporting and resolution in products, ensuring that all issues are addressed promptly and effectively.
• Serve as the focal point of knowledge and mentorship, both technically and in performance, to your team on a personal 1-on-1 level.
• Provide feedback and implement improvements for continuous testing operations.
• Report and be responsible for the team’s schedule and accomplishments.
• Assist with recruiting and training new team members, encouraging an inclusive and collaborative team environment.

This role is directly subordinate to the Chief Technology Officer. You will be crucial in implementing the organizational capacity to maintain our links and relationships with all actors in the company, ensuring seamless collaboration.

What We're Looking For

• Proven management skills for 3-5 years in a software development company as a QA manager for a team of 10+ QA specialists.
• 2-5 years of experience working as a QA specialist/engineer.
• Experience with real money gaming, gaming, or social gaming is preferred. Other related fields include banking, advertisement, and websites.
• Experience working in an Agile-managed software team.
• Demonstrated ability to efficiently self-regulate and prioritize tasks.
• Proven ability to meet quick deadlines and deliver detailed and effective results in a fast-paced work environment.
• Expertise in QA methodology, planning, execution, and defect management.
• Version controlling experience with an Atlassian product preferred (Bamboo) or any other repository software.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of web-based mobile testing and responsive compatibility testing across various platforms (Android/iOS).
• Experience working with Fiddler or any network sniffer/tracing program.
• Knowledge of the gaming & casino industry.
• Technical knowledge of SQL Server, MongoDB, HTML5, XML/JSON, JavaScript, and C#.
• Proficiency in English.
