LSEG is embarking on a major, multi-year transformation of its Real-time collections and distribution platform. The goal of this initiative is to position this core capability, that sits at the heart of the LSEG Data & Analytics division, for future growth and to take advantage of new technology capabilities as they mature.

The Director, Real-Time Platform Transformation – Product Lead is a senior leadership role within the Data & Feeds division. Working hand in hand with their Engineering counterpart, the individual will be responsible for driving the transformation and delivery of the Real-Time platform. This role will lead the product delivery of functional and non-functional requirements across all workstreams, ensuring alignment with the strategic ‘north star’ vision for platform flexibility, performance, scalability, timeliness, and usage.

This individual will bring a blend of technical, strategic and business acumen to the role, acting as the Voice of the Customer, ensuring the core Platform build is positioned to support customer migrations, communication strategies (both internally and externally with the ability to tailor appropriately to technical experts and c-suite levels), and ensuring the needs of customers and LSEG consumers of Real-Time are embedded in every stage of the transformation. The role also includes delegated authority for oversight across the workstreams, ensuring governance, risk management, and delivery excellence are at the forefront.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Delivery Leadership

  • Own and drive delivery of both functional and non-functional KPIs across the Real-Time platform transformation.
  • Ensure all workstreams align with the defined ‘north star’ capabilities: performance, scalability, timeliness, and improved telemetry.
  • Translate strategic goals into actionable delivery plans and measurable outcomes.
  • Act as the arbitrator of priority calls and key decisions.

Voice of the Customer

  • Lead the definition and execution of customer migration and communication strategies.
  • Act as the primary advocate for customer experience throughout the transformation lifecycle.
  • Ensure customer feedback loops are embedded into platform design and delivery.

Governance & Oversight

  • Provide delegated authority and oversight across D&F workstreams.
  • Ensure delivery governance, risk mitigation, and issue resolution are effectively managed.
  • Represent transformation progress and risks to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Engineering, Product, Operations, and Commercial teams to ensure cohesive delivery.
  • Champion cross-functional alignment and accountability across all transformation initiatives.
  • Support the development of tooling, automation, and telemetry to monitor delivery performance.

Key Measures of Success

  • Achievement of platform transformation KPIs & OKRs.
  • Successful execution of customer migration plans with minimal disruption.
  • Demonstrated alignment of all workstreams to the strategic capabilities.
  • Reduction in delivery risks and improved governance maturity across D&A.
  • Strict cost/programme management resulting in delivery to budget and timelines.

Desirable Skills/knowledge

  • 15+ years experience in a relevant industry.
  • People Leader experience.
  • A track record of managing complex, multi-year transformation programmes, coordinating multiple 3rd parties towards a common set of business outcomes.
  • Experience in supporting, developing or selling as-a-Service Private & Public Cloud based product offerings.
  • Financial market data provider/aggregator competitive content and product knowledge.
  • Proven and relevant experience in technical product and program management.
  • Experience in full software development life cycle using industry standard methodologies such as agile, iterative and waterfall.
