Job Description

Figma is hiring a Director, Strategic Sales to lead its North America Strategic Segment. This role involves shaping sales strategy, collaborating across teams, and driving meaningful relationships with existing and potential Fortune 1000 customers. The Director will lead a team of Account Executives responsible for engagement, expansion, and retention, reporting to the VP of Enterprise and Strategic Sales. The ideal candidate is agile, dynamic, a team player, and comfortable with change, contributing to Figma's mission of making design accessible to all.
Must have:
  • Lead our Strategic Segment for North America
  • Participate in customer and prospect meetings with our largest and most strategic customers
  • Attract and retain top talent across the team
  • Help shape and further develop sales processes and initiatives
  • Establish the strategy for the continued growth across our most strategic segment
  • 10 years of experience in sales
  • 3+ years of experience in management
  • Prior experience leading both managers and Strategic Account Executives
  • Demonstrated experience leading and building successful, collaborative, and hard-working sales teams
  • A proven track record of leading Sales teams to consistently meet and exceed goals
  • Understanding of our technical and competitive landscape
Good to have:
  • 1+ years of experience in second line leadership within a B2B SaaS company
  • Additional years of management experience within a SaaS company
  • Experience using or working with Figma, or other UX/UI experience
  • Ability to thrive in a constantly changing and evolving environment
  • Experience with Command of the Message or MEDDIC sales methodology

Pay Transparency Disclosure

If based in Figma’s San Francisco or New York hub offices, this role has the annual base salary range stated below.

Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills and prior relevant experience, potential impact, and scope of role), market demands, and specific work location. The listed range is a guideline, and the range for this role may be modified. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, the pay range is localized according to employee work location by a factor of between 80% and 100% of range. Please discuss your specific work location with your recruiter for more information.

Annual Base Salary Range (SF/NY Hub):

$187,000 - $243,000 USD
