This internship is a full-time, on-site opportunity in Anaheim, CA from June 2025 to January 2026. The role involves independently handling project assignments to identify and analyze improvement opportunities for increased efficiency in Disneyland Entertainment. Responsibilities include data analysis using statistical techniques, developing strategic recommendations, collecting and reviewing data, identifying and correcting data errors, forecasting using statistical methods, conducting comparative analysis, and collaborating with various team members. Disneyland Entertainment Project Analyst Industrial Engineering Intern, Summer/Fall 2025

This internship is a full-time commitment located in the Anaheim, CA area from June 2025 – January 2026.


What You Will Do 

  • Handle project assignments autonomously in order to identify, develop, and analyze improvement opportunities that will increase efficiency in the Entertainment line of business.

  • Perform data analysis using statistical techniques, conceptual thinking skills, and creative problem-solving skills

Examples of project duties: 

  • Assist with project management by conducting data analysis and generating strategic recommendations

  • Collect data and identify metrics to quantify entertainment projects

  • Review data and reporting to identify and correct data errors

  • Use statistical techniques to assist with forecasting

  • Facilitate comparative analysis of metrics for global Disney Live Entertainment

  • Build relationships and interact with all levels of Cast Members 

Required Qualifications & Skills 

  • Proven strong communication (written and verbal) through coursework, extra-curricular activities, or in a professional environment

  • Experience balancing multiple tasks with attention to detail in a fast paced environment

  • Proven ability to learn new software, business technology applications, and analytical tools. Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, pivot tables, statistical functions, and lookup formulas.

  • Proven creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and act tactically.

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Proven knowledge and/or experience with Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products

  • Internship or work experience in an analytical or process improvement role

  • Leadership position in an extra-curricular program


Education 

  • Currently earning a college/university degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics or related technical field

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information 
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements: 

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.

  • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization

 
Additional Information 

  • Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship

  • Fully available to work full-time (40 hours per week) from June 2025 – January 2026

  • Fully available Monday – Friday and occasional evenings and/or weekends depending on project needs

  • Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Anaheim, CA area

  • Able to provide reliable transportation to/from work
