AriensCo is seeking a motivated District Manager to oversee the Virginia/North Carolina territory. This role involves acting as a business advisor to dealer partners, focusing on growing the Ariens and Gravely brands of outdoor power equipment. Key responsibilities include building strong relationships, driving sales, achieving territory penetration and market share growth, developing new business opportunities, and providing market feedback. The District Manager will also engage with dealers throughout the sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals for residential customers and commercial landscape contractors. The position reports to the Regional Sales Director.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of sales experience, preferably dealer-based
  • Ability to work remotely
  • Drive sales and achieve targets
  • Build dealer relationships

Job Description:

AriensCo is on the hunt for a passionate and driven District Manager to lead our Virginia/North Carolina territory!

In this exciting role, you’ll be the go-to business advisor for our valued dealer partners, helping to grow and energize the Ariens and Gravely brands of outdoor power equipment. Your mission? Build strong relationships, drive sales, and fuel growth across these key markets.

You’ll report directly to the Regional Sales Director for the South Mid-Atlantic Region and play a pivotal role in our continued success.

THE DAY TO DAY…

  • Actively engage and serve as a trusted business advisor to Ariens Company dealer partners to drive sales and incremental growth of Ariens and Gravely brands of outdoor power equipment
  • Manage and coordinate dealer partner activities to drive growth of both existing dealers and new dealer partners to achieve sales targets of commercial and residential outdoor power equipment products
  • Leverage available resources to achieve territory penetration and market share growth based on market opportunity
  • Manage business with existing dealer partners through development of account specific strategies to protect and grow Ariens Company’s business and share position within the dealer
  • Achieve territory growth through the development of new profitable business by building and maintaining sales pipeline of new dealer prospects in the territory
  • Provide management with regular feedback about the territory including sales forecast, market trends, competitive analysis, partner assessments, territory opportunity, etc.
  • Manage territory development through implementation of sales and marketing initiatives to drive organic growth and incremental sales and profit
  • Engage and support dealers in all aspects of the sales cycle including prospecting, qualifying customers, presentations, proposal generation, equipment demonstrations, handling objections, and closing sales of Ariens Company products to residential customers, commercial landscape contractors, government accounts, etc.

THE QUALIFICATIONS…

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering or related is preferred
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
  • 2+ years experience in sales, dealer based is preferred
  • Knowledge of power equipment is a plus
  • Ability to work remotely
