Job Summary
As a Network Engineer at Tide, you will be responsible for the design, deployment, and optimization of our global network infrastructure, with a focus on Cisco Meraki wireless, routing, switching, and cloud-based network security. You will administer Netskope Cloud Firewall and Secure Web Gateway, manage UTM appliances, and collaborate with IT and Workplace teams on office builds and network modernization. Proactively identify and resolve network issues, drive automation, and ensure a scalable, secure, and seamless user experience across the organization.
Must Have

- Perform wireless coverage planning and site surveys.

- Strong knowledge of routing, switching, and protocols.
- Expertise in enterprise wireless deployment and tuning.
- Familiarity with networking protocols like DHCP, DNS, NAT, VPN, SNMP.
- Experience with network monitoring tools like Meraki Dashboard, NetFlow, Wireshark.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Network Engineer, own the design, deployment, and optimization of our global network infrastructure with a strong emphasis on Cisco Meraki wireless, routing & switching, and cloud-based network security. You will lead initiatives to ensure high availability and performance of both wired and wireless networks across our office locations. This role is also responsible for administering Netskope Cloud Firewall and Secure Web Gateway (SWG), managing traditional UTM appliances, and collaborating closely with IT and Workplace technology teams during office builds, expansions, and network modernization efforts.
You’ll be expected to proactively identify and resolve network issues, drive automation opportunities, and contribute to a scalable, secure, and seamless user experience for employees across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, Layer 2/3 switching, and routing protocols.
- Configure, monitor, and optimize Cisco Meraki wireless networks across multiple office locations.
- Administer Netskope Cloud Firewall and Secure Web Gateway (SWG) policies for web and network security.
- Manage and support UTM firewalls and assist in ongoing migration to cloud-native security models.
- Perform wireless coverage planning, conduct site surveys, and maintain Wi-Fi heatmaps and performance baselines.
- Monitor network performance, analyze logs, and proactively troubleshoot issues using Meraki Dashboard and other network tools.
- Implement VLAN segmentation, firewall rules, and access control policies to maintain a secure and compliant network environment.
- Collaborate with Site IT, AV, and Workplace teams during office expansions, network upgrades, and AV installations.
- Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, diagrams, IP schemes, and change logs.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement within the infrastructure scope.
What makes you a great fit:
- Experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar infrastructure-focused role.
- Strong knowledge of routing and switching, including hands-on experience with VLANs, STP, trunking, and routing protocols.
- Proven expertise in Enterprise wireless deployment, configuration, and performance tuning.
- Experience managing Netskope Cloud Firewall and Secure Web Gateway, or similar cloud-based network security platforms.
- Familiarity with UTM appliances and firewall best practices.
- Solid grasp of networking protocols and services: DHCP, DNS, NAT, VPN, SNMP.
- Experience with network monitoring and diagnostics tools (e.g., Meraki Dashboard, NetFlow, Wireshark).
- Comfortable working in a hybrid cloud/on-prem environment with a bias for automation and scalability.
- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
- Bonus: CCNA/CCNP, Meraki CMNA/ECMS certifications, or experience with automation scripting (Python, PowerShell).
