Enterprise Backend Engineer

Luma AI is seeking an Enterprise Backend Engineer to build the interface between their frontier models and the professional creative world. This role involves designing and shipping high-traffic REST APIs, building backend logic for seamless onboarding, authentication, and team collaboration, and developing secure systems for sharing contexts and assets for top media and entertainment companies. The ideal candidate will be product-minded, proficient in Python, and experienced with scalable systems and authentication protocols.

Must Have

• Design and ship high-traffic REST APIs with low latency and high availability.
• Build backend logic for smooth onboarding, authentication, and team collaboration.
• Develop backend structures for creative teams to share contexts, credits, and assets securely.
• Care deeply about the API as a product, designing intuitive endpoints with clear documentation.
• Strong professional experience building complex backends in Python.
• Experience with systems that handle significant traffic or complex data models.
• Hands-on experience implementing standard authentication protocols (OAuth, SSO, JWT).
