Job Description

As a Client Executive, you will drive revenue growth by selling healthcare technology solutions and services to new customers, including Health Plans, Health Systems, Pharmacy Benefit Managers, and more. Responsibilities include identifying opportunities, collaborating with subject matter experts, delivering solutions, conducting demos, managing customer relationships, and closing deals. You will also be responsible for ongoing pipeline development. The role requires developing a contact database and account development plans, aiming to achieve and exceed quota expectations. The job offers flexibility, including a hybrid work model and a business casual dress code. Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare sales
  • 5+ years of quota achieving success selling enterprise software and technology
  • Deep experience penetrating National and large Regional Payers in the US
  • Strong sense of urgency

As a Client Executive, you will deliver revenue growth through sales of our healthcare technology solutions and services to new customers, in multiple areas within the healthcare technology space including; Health Plans, Health Systems, Pharmacy Benefit Managers, Third Party Administrators & Pharmacy Benefit Administrators, Accountable Care Organizations across the following business lines:  Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, Exchange, Drug Discount.

What You Will Get To Do:

Individual Sales Quota:  Develop business from new prospects.

  • Annual quota assigned based on experience and assessment

Lead full sales cycle:  Sales Reps are the Quarterbacks of the team; paving the way and motivating the team across the finish line.

  • Generate sustained pipeline growth in line with profiles defined by the subject matter experts
  • Identify opportunities; leverage subject matter experts to understand synergies between customer needs and SS&C’s solutions
  • Work with subject matter experts to deliver a solution across SS&C’s portfolio of capability (technology and services)
  • Carry out demo(s), gather customer data and liaise with internal stakeholders to create presentation decks, materials, proposals and pricing, client reference introductions, executive leadership introductions, etc.
  • Manage relationship between customer and internal stakeholders
  • Close deals and maintain relationship for growth

SS&C Enterprise Cross Sales

  • Collaborate with SS&C enterprise to identify ways to expand client partnerships across all business segments (6 total)

Ongoing Pipeline Development

  • Developing contact database, relationship plans, and account development plans
  • Manage and grow a pipeline of 4-5x to successfully achieve and exceed quota expectations

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Hunting mentality – Net new business with net new logos is the mission
  • 5+ years of experience in health care sales
  • 5+ years of quota achieving success selling enterprise software and technology
  • Deep experience and success penetrating National and large Regional Payers in the US
  • Extensive rolodex and connections in the industry preferred
  • Relationships with C-Suite in large, key health plan
  • Strong sense of urgency, with the drive and knowledge to navigate multi-level relationships with complex customers
  • Deep understanding of needs-based selling strategies and ability to uncover underlying customer objections and concerns
  • Strong analytical thinker with the ability to clearly articulate a value proposition that resonates with a prospect organization and its buyers
  • Thorough understanding of the consultative, customer-focused approach to the sales process
  • You must be willing to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry conferences, events and internal training/meetings
