Job Description

As Event Marketing Manager, you’ll own the strategy, planning, and flawless execution of all field-marketing events that put the company in front of the right prospects and customers—trade shows, executive dinners, roadshows, and product-launch experiences. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product Marketing, and Customer Success to turn each event into a measurable pipeline and revenue.
Must have:
  • Define the annual event calendar aligned to revenue targets and buyer personas.
  • Select the right mix of industry conferences, regional roadshows, partner events, and bespoke experiences.
  • Build event briefs with positioning, goals, target accounts, and success metrics.
  • Own end-to-end project management: venue/vendor sourcing, contract negotiation, run-of-show, staffing, shipping, and on-site oversight.
  • Ensure brand consistency across booth design, signage, swag, and digital assets.
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and post-event reconciliations.
  • Partner with Product Marketing to craft compelling narratives and demos.
  • Work with Sales to drive pre-show outreach, on-site meetings, and post-show follow-up cadences.
  • Coordinate with Customer Success to secure client speakers and success stories.
  • Work with social media manager to promote the brand presence.
  • Set KPIs (MQLs, SALs, pipeline, influenced revenue) and track performance in Salesforce and marketing-automation platforms.
  • Analyze results, surface insights, and continually refine event mix and tactics for higher ROI.
  • Cultivate relationships with industry associations, vendors, media, and partners—especially within the banking and credit-union ecosystem.
  • Negotiate premium placement, speaking slots, and co-marketing opportunities.
Good to have:
  • Existing network within credit-union associations (e.g., CUNA, NAFCU) and key trade-show organizers.
  • Experience coordinating user conferences or product-launch roadshows.
  • Familiarity with webinar production and podcast/live-stream formats.

About the role:

Key Responsibilities:

Event Strategy & Planning

  • Define the annual event calendar aligned to revenue targets and buyer personas.
  • Select the right mix of industry conferences, regional roadshows, partner events, and bespoke experiences.
  • Build event briefs with positioning, goals, target accounts, and success metrics.

Execution & Logistics

  • Own end-to-end project management: venue/vendor sourcing, contract negotiation, run-of-show, staffing, shipping, and on-site oversight.
  • Ensure brand consistency across booth design, signage, swag, and digital assets.
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and post-event reconciliations.

Cross-Functional Alignment

Relationship Building

  • Cultivate relationships with industry associations, vendors, media, and partners—especially within the banking and credit-union ecosystem.
  • Negotiate premium placement, speaking slots, and co-marketing opportunities.

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of field or event-marketing experience in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Financial-services focus: demonstrable success running conferences and regional events targeting banks or credit unions (or adjacent fintech audiences) a plus.
  • Mastery of event tech stack—e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce—and proficiency with virtual/hybrid event formats.
  • Proven track record of translating events into pipeline and revenue; data-driven mindset with comfort presenting metrics to executives.
  • Stellar vendor-management and negotiation skills; ability to manage multiple projects and budgets concurrently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; polished on-stage presence a plus.
  • Willingness to travel ≈ 25 % (peaks around major conferences).

Compensation

Total compensation is expected to be between $100,000–$130,000, including a performance-based component. Actual compensation may vary depending on experience and location.
