Salesforce is seeking an experienced executive communications professional to lead programs for the EVP of Customer Success. This role involves driving communication planning and execution, collaborating with various stakeholders, and building strong internal relationships. Strong writing skills are essential for developing high-impact communications that align with business goals and company values, supporting senior leadership in internal and external engagements.
Must have:
  • Develop and execute high-impact communications for the EVP of Account Success.
  • Develop executive talking points, presentations, and briefing materials.
  • Support the EVP on company-wide campaigns and events.
  • Create and maintain consistent messaging frameworks.
  • Manage executive communications calendar and prioritize opportunities.
  • Write and edit talk tracks, blog posts, internal messages, and social media content.
  • Craft compelling narratives for complex business initiatives.
  • Create presentation materials for team calls, leadership sessions, and external events.
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with ES, Marketing, and Customer Success Communications teams.
  • Partner with executive assistants to manage speaking calendars.
  • Provide strategic counsel to leadership on communications opportunities and risks.
  • Lead complex, enterprise-wide and cross-functional communications programs.
  • Engage confidently with seasoned executives.
  • Educate stakeholders on communications strategies and influence decision making.
  • Capture an executive’s unique voice and craft messaging on their behalf.
  • Drive complex, multi-stakeholder announcements and initiatives.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work under tight deadlines with limited resources.

Job Details

Salesforce is hiring an experienced executive communications professional to lead communications programs for our EVP of Customer Success. This person will drive communication planning and execution, collaborating across matrixed stakeholders and teams. We’re looking for a strategic thinker who can build strong relationships across our company, connect ideas and information from a broad landscape, and get the job done. Strong writing skills are a must to deliver and land relevant, authentic multi-channel narratives.

Primary Responsibilities

Strategic Communications

  • Develop and execute high-impact communications for the EVP of Account Success that drive business goals
  • Develop executive talking points, presentations, and briefing materials for internal and external engagements
  • Support the EVP on company-wide campaigns and events (e.g., Dreamforce, Company Kickoffs)
  • Create and maintain consistent messaging frameworks aligned with company strategy and values
  • Manage executive communications calendar, prioritize opportunities, and develop integrated communications strategies for Account Success

Content Development

  • Write and edit talk tracks, blog posts, internal messages, and social media content for senior leaders
  • Craft compelling narratives that effectively communicate complex business initiatives
  • Create presentation materials for all team calls, leadership sessions, and external events

Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure aligned messaging
  • Collaborate with ES, Marketing, and Customer Success Communications teams
  • Partner with executive assistants to manage speaking calendars and commitments
  • Provide strategic counsel to leadership on communications opportunities and risks

Requirements

  • Highly organized and energetic leader with at least 10+ years of communications experience
  • Proven track record of leading complex, enterprise-wide and cross-functional communications programs in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong executive presence and the ability to confidently engage with seasoned executives.
  • Ability to educate stakeholders on communications strategies and influence decision making
  • Excellent writing, editing, and content development skills, with experience capturing an executive’s unique voice and crafting messaging on their behalf
  • Strong project management skills, able to drive complex, multi-stakeholder announcements and initiatives
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments, with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and pivot as needed
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and project management skills and attention to detail
  • Self-starter with proven ability to work under tight deadlines with limited resources
