Job Description

Animoka Studios is seeking experienced Texture Artists for a new TV Series. The role involves collaborating with creative leaders and artists to define the visual appearance of 3D models, including characters, environments, and props. Responsibilities include designing organic and hard surface textures, setting up complex surface textures, and developing looks to ensure assets are properly lit. The ideal candidate should have exceptional CG artwork skills and proficiency in Substance Painter, Substance Designer, and Photoshop. Knowledge of Maya and ZBrush is a plus.

Animoka Studios is looking for experienced Texture Artists to collaborate with our team of creative leaders and artists on a brand-new TV Series.

The ideal candidate is able to demonstrate exceptional skills in CG artwork. He/she will collaborate with the Art Director and Supervisors to determine the appearance of the project’s 3D models, whether they are characters, environments or props.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Design organic and hard surface textures to achieve desired appearance of characters, props, and environments, working collaboratively with other asset departments.
Set up complex surface textures and possibly prepare surface files for surfacing phase, developing looks to ensure that assets can be properly lit.
Excellent knowledge of applicable software packages including Substance Painter, Substance Designer and Photoshop. Knowledge of Maya and ZBrush is considered a plus.
