Experienced Texture Artist

Animoka Studios is looking for experienced Texture Artists to collaborate with our team of creative leaders and artists on a brand-new TV Series.

The ideal candidate is able to demonstrate exceptional skills in CG artwork. He/she will collaborate with the Art Director and Supervisors to determine the appearance of the project’s 3D models, whether they are characters, environments or props.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design organic and hard surface textures to achieve desired appearance of characters, props, and environments, working collaboratively with other asset departments.

• Set up complex surface textures and possibly prepare surface files for surfacing phase, developing looks to ensure that assets can be properly lit.

• Excellent knowledge of applicable software packages including Substance Painter, Substance Designer and Photoshop. Knowledge of Maya and ZBrush is considered a plus.
