Facilities Assistant

Studio Gobo is an established AAA games studio, part of the Keywords family. Our team has worked on multiple world class projects for companies such as Guerrilla Games, Arkane, Warner Bros, Ubisoft, Disney and Tencent. Projects include LEGO Horizon Adventures, Redfall, Hogwarts Legacy, For Honor, Marvel Superheroes: Guardians of the Galaxy and Star Wars: Rise Against the Empire playsets for Disney Infinity 3.0

We are looking for a Facilities Assistant, working on-site, from 8am until 1pm Monday to Friday (25 hours per week) at our office in Hove. Salary: £16,666 PA.

Working closely with the Operations Manager, HR and IT to ensure our studio is a safe, clean and inviting environment for all employees and visitors.  This position will cover a variety of responsibilities and suit someone with a flexible, can-do attitude.

A Facilities Assistant at Studio Gobo: 

• Open and prepare the studio each morning, ensuring all areas are clean and tidy, meeting health and safety standards.

• Manage stock control and kitchen refills; order and pack away food and beverages.
• Greet guests, ensuring they sign in at reception, and welcome employees, fostering relationships and championing our values.
• Handle deliveries, recycling, and ad hoc cleaning tasks to keep the site tidy.
• Support the Studio Operations Manager, including setting up desks for new starters, managing courier and parcel services, and scheduling regular onsite maintenance.
• Organize and support weekly onsite lunches, social events, and Craft Club activities.
• Collect and submit gas/electric meter readings, book travel and accommodation for new employees and visitors, and support recruitment efforts.
• Maintain records of first aid/fire warden certificates and handle related training and expenses.
