Job Description

The Federal Regional System Integration Manager (RSM) will manage the System Integration organization, overseeing Project Managers, System Technologists, and Service organizations. Responsibilities include hiring, mentoring, performance management, and rewards planning. The RSM will also manage day-to-day operations, revenue forecasting, cost containment, and customer satisfaction, ensuring the quality, profitability, and timeliness of project design, installation, and commissioning for Federal Civil and Law Enforcement Agency projects.
Must have:
  • Manage the System Integration organization
  • Oversee day-to-day operations including revenue forecasting, cost management/containment and customer satisfaction
  • Ensure the quality, profitability, and timeliness of design, installation, and commissioning of Customer projects
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 6+ years in Project management or program experience
  • Previous experience managing a team of professionals
  • H.S. Diploma or Equivalent
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely

Department Overview

The department provides system integration services to support all Federal Civil and Law Enforcement Agency projects within the Federal Markets

Job Description

This position is fully remote and can be located anywhere in the United States

Overview:

  • Manage the System Integration organization consisting of Project Managers along with coordination of the System Technologist and Service organization. The RSM is accountable for hiring, mentoring, Performance Management and rewards planning activities.
  • Oversees all day to day operations including revenue forecasting, cost management/containment and customer satisfaction.
  • Systems Integration responsibilities include ensuring the quality, profitability, and timeliness of design, installation, and commissioning of Customer projects, through the coordination of department resources (Project Managers, Field Systems Engineers, System Technologists) and external resources (3rd party subcontractors).

Preferred skills & experience:

  • Bachelor's degree is required. An advanced degree is a plus.
  • 6+ plus years in Project management or program experience.
  • PMP/PMI certification is a plus.
  • Must have previous experience managing a team of professionals.
  • Leads highly complex programs. Leads and directs the work activities of the program team across organizational boundaries. Ensures that programs progress according to schedule and budget.
  • Exercises judgment in selection methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with regional and territorial management.
  • Drives strategic relationships between internal and external teams. Resolves issues between internal and external groups.
  • Responsible for direct communication to relevant senior stakeholders. Leads complex communications and negotiations with internal or external clients.
  • Responsible for driving process improvement for large parts of the project. Conducts project reviews through the life of the project.
  • Drives process improvements across departments and business groups.

Target Base Salary Range: $140,000 - $160,000 USD

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
