The Fellows Engagement Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing educational programs for physicians in training, with a focus on utilizing Philips technology throughout the United States. Key responsibilities include creating training programs, collaborating with various teams (Sales, Marketing, Compliance, etc.), developing training materials, ensuring compliance, attending meetings, and actively participating in the fellows graduation series. The role requires strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills, with a preference for those with medical education and cath lab experience.

Job Description

In this role you will be responsible for facilitating the development and execution of Physicians in training educational programs while understanding the utilization of Philips technology for fellows throughout the United States. 

Your role:

  • Develop regional training programs and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Compliance, Events team and others within Philips IGT- building key relationships within Philips IGT (including systems, ultrasound, connected care, etc) for trade shows, conferences and internal/external meetings while owning all hands on rotations for fellows/ physicians in training.
  • Collaborate with all stakeholders on the creation of training material for your assigned area.
  • Facilitate review of all documents and ensure an efficient approval process while ensuring all materials are within compliance (PRP review).
  • Attend medical education team meetings, national and regional meetings as requested.
  • Keeping up with the development in all fellows programming and active participation and planning for the Physicians in training flagship graduation series/hands on program.

  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
  • You’ve acquired 2+ years of experience in medical education. Cath lab/ clinical experience, strongly preferred.
  • Your skills include strong organization, detail oriented, strong communication, excellent written and verbal, and ability to present to large audiences.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
  • You’re a passionate educator with an appetite for innovation and continuous learning.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

The pay range for this position in AZ, AR, ID, IA, KS, KY, LA, ME, MS, MO, NE, NM, OK, SC, SD, TN, UT, or WV is $96,000-$153,000.

The pay range for this position in AL, CO, FL, GA, HI, IL, IN, MI, MN, NV, NH, NC, ND, OH, OR, PA, TX, VT, VA, WI, or WY is $101,000-$163,000.

The pay range for this position in AK, DE, MD, NY, RI, or WA is $105,000-$170,000.

The pay range for this position in CA, CT, DC, MA, or NJ is $113,000-$181,000.

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.   

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.  Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.  Details about our benefits can be found here

At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
