Job Summary

Synechron is a global consulting firm specializing in digital transformation for financial services, leveraging AI, Cloud & DevOps, Data, and Software Engineering. We are seeking a skilled FICO DM Developer to design, develop, and deploy decision management solutions using FICO Blaze Advisor. This role involves building cloud-based analytic applications, integrating decision services into enterprise ecosystems, and ensuring reliable performance through testing and troubleshooting.

Must Have

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy business rules and decision services utilizing FICO Blaze Advisor.
  • Develop and deploy cloud-based analytic software within FICO’s Analytic Cloud platform.
  • Create, configure, and optimize rule artifacts such as rule sets, flows, decision tables, and other rule components.
  • Integrate Blaze Advisor decision services with enterprise applications using Java, REST APIs, JSON, and XML.
  • Conduct unit testing of rule projects, support system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and troubleshoot rule-related issues.
  • Proficiency in FICO Blaze Advisor and SRL (Scoreware Rule Language).
  • Strong programming experience in Java/J2EE.
  • Experience with RESTful API development and consumption, JSON, and XML.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience developing with FICO Blaze Advisor.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to effectively troubleshoot and resolve decision engine issues.

Good to Have

  • Prior experience deploying decision services in cloud environments.
  • FICO certification related to Blaze Advisor.
  • Experience working within risk, credit, or fraud analytics domains.
  • Knowledge of decision management frameworks and best practices.

Our challenge

We are seeking a skilled FICO DM Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying decision management solutions using FICO Blaze Advisor. This role involves building cloud-based analytic applications, integrating decision services into enterprise ecosystems, and ensuring reliable performance through testing and troubleshooting.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Pittsburgh, PA/Dallas, TX is $130k - $140k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy business rules and decision services utilizing FICO Blaze Advisor to support decision automation and analytics initiatives.
  • Develop and deploy cloud-based analytic software within FICO’s Analytic Cloud platform, supporting decision management, predictive modeling, and risk assessment.
  • Create, configure, and optimize rule artifacts such as rule sets, flows, decision tables, and other rule components.
  • Integrate Blaze Advisor decision services with enterprise applications using Java, REST APIs, JSON, and XML to enable seamless real-time decision-making.
  • Conduct unit testing of rule projects, support system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and troubleshoot rule-related issues to ensure robustness and performance.

Requirements:

  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in FICO Blaze Advisor and SRL (Scoreware Rule Language).
  • Strong programming experience in Java/J2EE.
  • Experience with RESTful API development and consumption, JSON, and XML.
  • Familiarity with cloud deployment models and platforms.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience developing with FICO Blaze Advisor.
  • Prior experience deploying decision services in cloud environments is preferred.
  • FICO certification related to Blaze Advisor is highly desirable.
