Hasbro is seeking a highly motivated Finance Manager to join the Global Brand Finance Team, supporting the Disney brand. The role involves partnering with the Disney Brand team to drive profitability, influence brand strategy, and provide financial guidance. Responsibilities include analyzing product line P&L forecasts, shaping strategy with brand marketing leads, building financial models for cross-functional teams, managing budgets, framing strategic brand planning, and supporting contractual financial requirements for in-licensed partners. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of financial planning and analysis experience in a consumer-related product development or retail environment, a Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or a related business degree, and strong analytical and communication skills.

We are seeking a highly motivated, strategic communicator to join the Global Brand Finance Team, supporting the Disney brand. As a Finance Manager, you will have the opportunity to partner with our outstanding Disney Brand team and live the experience of seeing Toys evolve from a concept to on-shelf product!

The Financial Manager reports to the Director of Global Finance.

 

This is a hybrid role and requires the ability to work on site 3 days per week.

 

A day in the life as a Finance Manager:

  • Provide recommendations and insights to Marketing and Development teams based on analysis of the latest product line P&L forecast.
  • Partner with brand marketing leads to shape strategy and support long-range strategic plan, via robust understanding of the line plan and profitability levers
  • Serve as a key Finance partner to cross-functional teams, building ad-hoc financial models and presenting data-driven guidance, including budget management
  • Frame strategic brand planning, leveraging historical global data to establish forward-looking goals and initiatives, and build predictive financial modeling.
  • Support the contractual financial requirements of in-licensed partners including collaborating with Regional Finance and Business partners to understand drivers and communicate impact to Senior Leadership.
  • Demonstrate proactive, day-to-day stakeholder management, prioritizing development for the success of the team.

 

What you will bring:

  • 7+ years of financial business planning and analysis experience in a consumer related product development or retail environment preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or related business degree.
  • Ability to manage in a fast-paced environment spanning multiple time zones
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to concisely and effectively articulate finance concepts and results to non-finance partners.
  • Experience with large-scale financial systems and data management applications including Power BI (Power Query and DAX Formulas), SAP and/or Business Objects a plus.
