Job Summary
Ubisoft is seeking a full-time Financial Planning Analyst, Marketing to join their Financial Planning and Analysis team in Paris, France. This role involves supporting the forecasting process, expense analysis, and budget tracking for marketing investments across the Global Publishing organization. The ideal candidate will be a business partner with strong financial and analytical skills, comfortable collaborating with executives and stakeholders, and adept at working with complex data in a fast-paced environment.
Must Have
- Support global tracking, forecasting, and annual plan of key franchise marketing budgets.
- Perform consolidation and reconciliation of company-wide Marketing expenses.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Finance Analytics teams to validate business assumptions.
- Analyze historical benchmarks and title ambitions for marketing investment recommendations.
- Provide in-depth financial analysis of actual spends and monthly variance analysis.
- Partner with accounting and marketing teams for booking accuracy and manage intercompany rebills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- Relevant FP&A experience.
- Advanced Excel skills and data manipulation.
- Strong analytical, finance, accounting, and business judgment.
- Strong business partnering and communication skills.
- Fluency in English and French.

Ubisoft, a global leader in the video games and entertainment software industry, is currently seeking a full-time Financial Planning Analyst, Marketing as part of the Financial Planning and Analysis team. This individual will support the forecasting process, expenses analysis and budget tracking for marketing investments across the Global Publishing organization.
The ideal candidate is a business partner comfortable working with executives and stakeholders of all levels and with demonstrated experience collaborating across functions. He/She has a strong financial and analytical mindset, solid business judgment, is comfortable working with complex and evolving tools and data structures, pays attention to detail and thrives in a fast-paced work environment.
The position will be located in Paris (France) and report directly to the Sr. Manager, Financial Planning Marketing based in Paris.
Responsibilities:
Financial Planning for Marketing & Sales Investments – Business Partner role
- Support Publishing’s global tracking, forecasting and annual plan of key franchise marketing budgets. Perform consolidation and reconciliation of company-wide Marketing expenses for a holistic spend view
- Collaborate with Transversal Marketing and Finance Analytics teams to validate marketing business assumptions. Support marketing executives to validate investment prioritization
- Analyze historical benchmarks and title ambitions to recommend marketing investment
- Provide in-depth financial analysis of actual spends and perform monthly variance analysis for business partners and management meetings
- Partner with accounting and marketing teams to ensure accuracy of bookings. Manage intercompany rebills for Marketing spend per transfer pricing guidance for both actual and forecast
- Help implement processes to enhance marketing investment tracking, visibility and streamlined reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher with strong academic performance in a relevant focus such as Finance, Accounting, or Economics
- Relevant FP&A experience (the mission can be adapted to either junior or more senior profiles)
- Former experience working in a multifaceted and shifting environment, particularly within an organization undergoing significant transformation, would be a plus
- Advanced Excel skills and data manipulation of large, multi-dimensional data sets
- Strong analytical, finance, accounting, and business judgment
- Strong business partnering and communication skills, with a proven track record of working across all levels of the organization
- Fluency in English and French is a must have
