Foshan ODC _Optic Engineer
Job Summary
Job Description
Valeo is seeking an Optic Engineer for their Foshan ODC. The role involves performing activities in compliance with Engineering discipline Development Plan, reviewing requirements, and ensuring robust design/validation within economic targets. Responsibilities include supporting technical architecture, following standardization rules, and assisting in design reviews. The engineer will also perform or support design simulations, calculations, and tests, and report task progress and escalate risks.
Must have:
- Perform activities in compliance with Engineering discipline Development Plan of his/her PG/PL
- Review Internal requirements, Customer Requirements, Specifications
- In charge of the robust design / validation in line with the economical targets
- Support technical architecture and standards assignments
- Follow Standardization rules
- Support design reviews, internal and with suppliers
- Perform or support Engineering discipline design simulations/coding/validation
- Perform or support Engineering discipline design calculations including worst case/statistical and support thermal studies
- Perform or support Engineering disciplines tests
- Reports the progress of his tasks
- Escalate risks

- Perform activities in compliance with Engineering discipline Development Plan of his/her PG/PL
- Review Internal requirements, Customer Requirements, Specifications

- Follow Standardization rules
- Support design reviews, internal and with suppliers
His/her scope could include: all or part of the design, integration, validation of blocks / product
Complying with Engineering disciplines processes and Design Rules:
- Perform or support Engineering discipline design simulations/coding/validation
- Perform or support Engineering discipline design calculations including worst case/statistical and support thermal studies
- Perform or support Engineering disciplines tests
Management follow-up
- Reports the progress of his tasks
