About Flero: Flero is a rights-managed UGC video monetization platform designed to improve conversion rates for retailers, provide licensable media for AI shopping agents, and offer usage-based income to creators. It differentiates itself from competitors by being a neutral, video-first, and rights-first platform that delivers retailer-grade metadata and an AI agent-readable Model Context Protocol (MCP) / API endpoints. ### What You Will be Doing: * Land 2–3 design‑partner pilots in a video‑sensitive category (beauty, appliances, home, footwear) with a clear success metric: relative PDP conversion lift with exposure targets. * Ship an MVP on‑page module with transcripts, rights metadata, safety gating, and analytics wiring. * Run a clean experiment: randomized holdout, weekly reads from exposure → plays → add‑to‑cart → purchase; interim lift with confidence bands. * Seed creator supply: 50–200 rights‑cleared clips across 20–40 SKUs; ≥30% pass quality thresholds and are mapped correctly. * Define and deliver a read‑only API/MCP so agents can retrieve ranked clips or transcript snippets with license terms and provenance; basic usage metering live. * Package compliance: standard license presets, disclosure UX, and a one‑pager for retailer legal. ### What You Must Bring: * Experience at the intersection of engineering and product, with a focus on marketplaces, retail tech, e-commerce, and UGC/video commerce. * Track record converting enterprise pilots into paid rollouts; able to navigate procurement, security, and legal. * Experience building a product from 0 to 1 and all the way to launch. * Experience implementing A/B tests for on‑site conversion (CVR, ATC, return rate). * Practical fluency in rights/licensing, brand safety, and FTC disclosure for creator content. * Ability to specify ranking/quality pipelines (ingest, transcribe, detect moments, score, rank) and make sharp model trade‑offs. * Exceptional written and verbal communication; crisp narrative for retailers, creators, investors, and agent teams. * High integrity, ownership, and speed. ### What We’d Love to See: * Prior leadership at UGC/reviews/video commerce platforms. * Experience on retailer PDP teams or marketplace buyer experience. * Exposure to content provenance, licensing tech, or agent/LLM API design. * Familiarity with content moderation and safety systems. * Creator‑economy network and empathy around predictable payouts and briefs. * Fundraising experience from pre‑seed to seed. ### What Sets You Apart: * Initiative & Grit: You own outcomes, move fast, and thrive in chaotic environments. * User-Obsessed: You actively seek feedback and design with the end user in mind. * Scrappy & Resourceful: You deliver results despite constraints. * Technically Curious: You continuously explore new tools and approaches, applying them creatively. * Builder Energy: You’re energized by creating from scratch and making bold bets.
