Freelance Marketing Generalist

Lunar Academy is an online learning platform powered by concept art and illustration studio Mooncolony. We were founded in 2023 with the mission to give artists the skills to make it in the games industry and turn their passion into a successful career.

Now we’re looking for an an independent and versatile Freelance Marketing Generalist to work with us to help plan, execute, monitor and administrate marketing activities. They’ll work under the guidance of the Senior Marketing Manager and take the lead on specific campaigns and projects.

We’re looking for someone with a passion for creating compelling content, an excellent grasp of marketing fundamentals, and meticulous attention to detail. A creative flair and a positive, pro-active attitude are important, as are exceptional organisational skills.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Collaborating with internal teams to plan, execute, and manage marketing campaigns that align with sales goals and content activities.
• Creating and publishing engaging content across social media, email, and other platforms, ensuring consistency with the brand and content calendar.
• Monitoring campaign performance, engaging with audiences, and conducting social listening to gather insights and optimize strategies.

What We’re Looking For:

• Creative thinker with strong communication, writing, and social listening skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Skilled in content creation, including graphic design (Canva, Adobe Suite), photo/video editing, and digital media formats.
• Familiar with SEO, email marketing (e.g., Mailchimp), and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social insights).
