Job Summary

Worlds is seeking a Front-End Engineer Contractor to develop responsive, high-quality interfaces for real-time AI experiences. This role involves building complex, data-rich applications for dashboards, model training, and dynamic agent workflows, with a strong focus on UX craft and system consistency. The ideal candidate will contribute to a major transformation, evolving the platform towards end-user experience and product polish, shaping the design system and features.

Must Have

Build modern UIs with React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
Prototype and ship visual systems like dashboards, timelines, and interactive AI workflows.
Collaborate across UX, backend, and product to design and implement clean, scalable experiences.
Extend and evolve our internal design system with reusable components and clear patterns.
Contribute to highly dynamic interfaces where data, layout, and workflows shift in real time.
Push UX polish: spacing, motion, responsiveness, edge-case handling, accessibility.
5+ years of professional front-end experience.
Proficient in React and TypeScript fundamentals, including component-driven architecture.
Expert level understanding of HTML, CSS, Tailwind, and interaction best practices.
Passion for visual polish, UI structure, and layout consistency.
Experience with design systems (Storybook, tokens, reusable components).
Familiarity with data visualization, dashboard UI, or interactive charts.
Must be a US citizen.

Good to Have

Experience with GraphQL
Experience with video/map interfaces
Experience with AI/ML-powered applications

We’re looking for a Front-End Engineer Contractor to help us deliver the future of real-time AI experiences. You’ll build responsive, high-quality interfaces that power dashboards, model training views, and dynamic agent workflows. These are complex, data-rich, user-facing applications that demand real attention to UX craft; layout, animations, transitions, empty states, performance, and system consistency.

We’re in the middle of a major transformation, evolving from platform infrastructure to end-user experience and product polish. That means we’re not just looking for a coder. We’re looking for a UI specialist who sees every detail, can prototype their ideas, and wants to shape the design system as much as the features.

What You’ll Do
