What we're looking for
As a Fullfilment Operations Manager II, you'll be responsible for providing a best-in-class experience to our eaters and our chefs.
Your time will be spent running the daily operations of the entire New York market, as well as driving improvement measures, and operational strategy.
You will help to elevate the standard, streamline processes, and provide efficient guidelines to the Kitchen, Warehouse, Food Safety, Fulfillment and Logistics departments, ensuring they are all set for success. All this with a long-term mindset nurturing positive daily habits with special care on scalability and cost-efficiency.
Success for this role will be measured by customer satisfaction and profitability of operations, constantly identifying key opportunities and spearheading projects focused on effectively scaling our business for growth.
Responsibilities
Working schedule: Friday - Tuesday from 2 PM to 10 Pm
1. Operational Oversight
- Monitor real-time operations to ensure adherence to SOPs.
- Address and resolve operational issues promptly to avoid operational disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with KPIs (Sealed Meals Per Hour, Labor, Food Safety Compliance)
- Act as the first escalation point for on-ground teams.
2. Team Coordination
- Labor Management / Scheduling of associates / ensuring they are briefed and aligned on daily objectives.
- Supervise and support team members during operational hours, and coordinate effective shift handovers
3. Resource Management
- Ensure optimal staffing during peak and off-peak hours.
- Identify and report any resource gaps to senior management.
4. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Track and analyze performance metrics during shifts.
- Prepare end-of-shift reports summarizing activities, issues, and resolutions.
- Identify areas for operational improvement and propose solutions.
5. Communication
- Maintain clear communication with cross-functional teams, including IT, Customer Support, and Quality Assurance.
- Relay updates and changes in processes to team members promptly.
Qualifications
- Bilingual (English & Spanish Fluency)
- Experience in cold storage (preferred), operations, logistics, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in relevant tools and software (e.g., operational dashboards, reporting tools).
