Job Description

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to join our team in Sydney. You will be responsible for building scalable and maintainable code to solve problems faced by businesses and its employees. You will critically evaluate problems and solutions, as well as tools and technologies to assist in delivering product goals expediently and cost effectively.
Must have:
  • Engineering ownership of product modules, components, and services.
  • Conduct solid engineering design and implementation to deliver new innovations and solutions for our customers.
  • Maintain existing codebase and create new modules, components, and services.
  • Manage, deploy and maintain well-orchestrated packages across several different environments so we can ship new code to production daily.
  • Increase the quality of our code and enhance development pipelines.
  • Work with developers, designers, QA, and product managers to improve the end-to-end product development process.
  • 3+ years of experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Strong grasp of building and maintaining microservices with clean, testable code.
  • Experience with AWS serverless services such as Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, DynamoDB.
  • Solid front-end experience, HTML, CSS, JS.
Good to have:
  • Some experience writing and maintaining automated tests (integration, e2e), or willingness to learn.
  • Understanding and working knowledge of different types of testing such as Functional, Non-Functional, Regression and Sanity.
  • Strong interest in AI services and programming tools.
  • Strong communicator who can work effectively across local and remote teams.
  • Comfortable analysing business requirements.
  • Comfortable handling bugs and/or customer support.
  • Desire to learn about new platforms, technologies, be adaptable and share what you learn with your team.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ years of experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).

  • Strong communicator who can work effectively across local and remote teams.
  • Experience with AWS serverless services such as Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, DynamoDB.
  • Understand the importance of QA in the development process.
  • Some experience writing and maintaining automated tests (integration, e2e), or willingness to learn.
  • Understanding and working knowledge of different types of testing such as Functional, Non-Functional, Regression and Sanity
  • Strong interest in AI services and programming tools
  • Solid front-end experience, HTML, CSS, JS, framework agnostic
  • Write clear, legible, secure and optimised code.
  • Comfortable analysing business requirements.
  • Comfortable handling bugs and/or customer support.
  • Desire to learn about new platforms, technologies, be adaptable and share what you learn with your team
