This Channel Account Manager position at Trend Micro is responsible for driving the growth of the SMB business by recruiting, enabling, and expanding key partners in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The role involves developing and executing account-specific plans and sales strategies to achieve revenue goals, with a special focus on MSP/MSSP/Hosters/Cloud Brokers and Hybrid VARS. Key activities include partner recruitment, sales training, business support, and pipeline management.

  • Manage deal registration and sales pipeline.
  • 3-5 years experience managing strategic channel partner relationships.
  • Experience in Event Management, presentation, public speaking.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Ability to travel minimum of 50% of the time.

This position is responsible for supporting the growth of the SMB business by recruiting, enabling and growing key partners. The Channel Account Manager will travel and have responsibility for working with various internal and external resources to identify partners for focus, expansion and growth. This includes developing and implementing recruiting account-specific plans and sales strategies designed to achieve and exceed organic revenue growth goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and drive channel partner recruitment and sales action plans to increase sales volume in all verticals across the Trend portfolio to all levels of partner management and sales team.
  • Special emphasis includes MSP/MSSP/Hosters/Cloud Brokers and Hybrid VARS (50%+ of total sales from reoccurring revenue model).
  • Top 500 Managed Service Providers focused on mid to larger sized end customers.
  • Present training and education on sales, marketing, customer service, products, markets, ordering procedures etc.
  • Provide business and sales support to channel partners.
  • Manage deal registration and sales pipeline in coordination with internal sales leadership and channel partner sales leadership.
  • Ongoing coaching of partner sales teams.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years experience managing strategic channel partner relationships.
  • Experience with managed services channel partners is a plus.
  • Experience in Event Management, presentation, public speaking.
  • Bachelor's Degree; Business Administration preferred.
  • Ability to travel minimum of 50% of the time.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com preferred.
