Job Description

Pearl Abyss is seeking a Game Translator to translate game content from Korean to target languages (Portuguese, European Spanish). The role involves internal/external communication related to translation. Candidates must have native proficiency in the target language, a passion for games, and be able to commute to the office in Gwacheon-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. This is a contract worker position with a 3-month training period.

Must have:

Translate game content from Korean to target languages
Handle internal and external communication related to translation
Native proficiency in Portuguese or European Spanish
Passion for games and enjoyment in playing them
Proactive and can-do attitude
Eligible for a work visa in Korea (for foreigners)
Qualified for overseas business trips
Able to commute to the office

Good to have:

Experience playing Black Desert
Experience in the game industry with strong game terminology comprehension
Experience playing games serviced in the target language
Prior experience in game translation
Experience using translation tools
