Job Description

Scanline VFX seeks a talented Generalist Artist specializing in lighting. Responsibilities include collaborating with the creative team, creating high-quality lighting setups, understanding lighting principles, color theory, and composition. The role requires working with 3D resources, textures, and shaders for realistic lighting effects, optimizing for rendering efficiency, and maintaining lighting consistency. Collaboration with other artists to integrate CG elements into live sequences is crucial, along with problem-solving to achieve desired visual effects. Proficiency in 3ds Max is essential, with Houdini and VRay knowledge highly desirable. The ideal candidate possesses at least 2 years of VFX experience and excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nous recherchons un artiste généraliste talentueux et polyvalent, fortement axé sur l'éclairage, pour rejoindre notre équipe. Le candidat idéal aura de l'expérience dans la production d'effets visuels, avec une maîtrise de 3ds Max et un bonus s'il a de l'expérience avec Houdini. La connaissance de VRay en tant que moteur de rendu est hautement souhaitable. Si vous avez une passion pour l'éclairage, les environnements et le travail avec les shaders, nous voulons vous entendre.

Principales responsabilités

    • Collaborer avec l'équipe créative pour comprendre les exigences du projet et la vision artistique
    • Créer et mettre en œuvre des configurations d'éclairage de haute qualité qui améliorent l'ambiance, l'atmosphère et le réalisme des scènes CG
    • Bonne compréhension des principes d'éclairage, de la théorie des couleurs et de la composition
    • Travailler avec des ressources 3D, des textures et des shaders pour obtenir des effets d'éclairage réalistes et visuellement convaincants
    • Optimiser les configurations d'éclairage pour une efficacité de rendu sans compromettre la qualité
    • Maintenir la cohérence dans la qualité et le style de l'éclairage entre les prises de vue et les séquences
    • Travailler en étroite collaboration avec d'autres artistes pour intégrer de manière transparente des éléments CG dans des séquences en direct
    • Résoudre les problèmes d'éclairage pour obtenir les effets visuels souhaités

Qualifications

    • Au moins 2 ans d'expérience dans le secteur des effets visuels
    • Maîtrise de 3ds Max, avec une solide compréhension des principes et des techniques d'éclairage
    • Une connaissance des logiciels de composition tels que Nuke est hautement souhaitable
    • Bonne compréhension des environnements CG et des shaders
    • Excellentes compétences en communication et en travail d'équipe
    • Capacité à travailler efficacement dans des délais serrés sans compromettre la qualité
    • Connaissance de Houdini est un plus
    • Expérience avec VRay comme moteur de rendu
