Graphic Designer

FitXR is a fitness technology company working at the cutting edge of VR and MR, building a movement for movement.

We started life in 2016 in a garden shed in the UK. Today, we’re building FitXR, one of the top-downloaded apps on the Meta Quest store. We’ve raised close to $30m from top investors such as Maveron, Hiro, and BoostVC.

TLDR

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Graphic Designer with great attention to detail to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in creating visually captivating digital marketing materials, presentation decks, infographics, and videos across various platforms, ensuring our visual content stands out and engages users effectively.

Where you’ll spend your time


  • Leverage your artistic expertise to create innovative and dynamic visual content across our product, social media channels, emails, and website.

  • Define and lead visual design initiatives, collaborating across departments to enhance creativity and operational efficiency.

  • Deeply understand our audience, gathering insights to advocate for their needs in design decisions and ensuring designs resonate with them.

  • Ensure all visual content aligns with our branding guidelines, contributing to a cohesive and compelling brand identity.

  • Design impactful presentation decks and infographics for events such as meetings, ensuring clarity and visual appeal.

  • Edit videos with precision for various platforms, including social media (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok), adding value where possible.

  • Facilitate clear communication and alignment within your team and across functions, driving continuous improvement and collaboration.

  • You'll work closely with our Marketing, Product, and Design teams.


We’d love to see from you


  • Extensive experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio showcasing product and brand design.

  • Mastery of design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Canva, Figma, AI design tools, and Google Slides. Experience with video editing software is also a bonus.

  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to conceptualize, articulate, and bring creative ideas to life.

  • In-depth knowledge of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques, with a proven track record of creating polished, professional designs.

  • Strong multitasking ability, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing effectively, and consistently meeting deadlines.

  • A passion for crafting visually compelling content that simplifies and conveys complex ideas, elevating the user experience.



Logistics 🛠

Our interview process takes place on Google Hangouts and tends to consist of the following stages:

  • Initial screen with the talent team

  • Hiring Manager / technical interview

  • Task stage

  • Cultural chat

  • Founder / Exec Interview
