Job Description

HOPE is seeking creative Graphic Designer Interns to produce illustrations and designs. The role requires adaptability, versatility, and the ability to meet deadlines. Responsibilities include creating graphics and layouts for websites and marketing materials, designing pixel-perfect designs, and ensuring designs are consistent with brand identity and delivered on time. The intern will manage files, assets and update documentation. This internship offers valuable experience using next-generation technology and allows you to contribute to a charitable cause, providing a strong portfolio for future job opportunities.
Must have:
  • Strong portfolio showcasing talent
  • Good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or similar
  • Attention to detail and adaptability
Good to have:
  • UX and UI design for website and marketing campaigns
  • Ability to jump from Illustrator to Photoshop as per requirements
  • Experience with various image formats and printing formats

Job Details

Location : This role is a based in Edinburgh, Scotland. We encourage only residents based in Edinburgh to apply for this role.

Our Requirement   

  

We are looking for creative individuals that can produce beauty as; illustrators and graphic designers. We are looking for adaptability, versatility and people who can work to deadlines.    

  

Skills Required  

Please do not apply for specific experience levels as we place you accordingly once we evaluate you. We do not believe that experience is gained over time, we believe that your exposure and talent dictate this.  

  

Basic  

Strong portfolio supporting your talent.  

Good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or similar  

Attention to detail, adaptability, and receptiveness to feedback and direction.  

 

Intermediate  

UX and UI design for website and marketing campaigns  

Ability to jump from Illustrator to Photoshop as per requirements  

 

Advanced  

Experience with various image format and printing format 

Knowing how to optimise for Web 

Manage multiple priorities in a fast-pasted environment with changing deadlines and scope  

  

Responsibilities  

  

Graphic Designer  

Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for website and marketing purposes  

Create pixel perfect designs  

Ability to create designs and graphics across devices and platforms 

Clear understanding of the brand identity  

Ensuring that the final product aligns with the project's needs and is delivered on time.  

Managing files, asset libraries, and updating procedures and documentation  

Develop design, wireframes and visual mock-ups for presentation purposes
