Introduction

We are looking for a Head of IT with hands-on experience organising, optimising and improving our asset catalogue and all kinds of internal systems. Responsibilities

As Head of IT at RENNSPORT, you will:

• Provide internal IT support across the organization, from developers to C-level and HR.

• Maintain and optimize our catalogue of IT assets (hardware, software, licences, peripherals).

• Ensure timely provisioning and renewal of hardware and licences, especially during onboarding/offboarding.

• Manage internal systems such as Google Workspace, Zulip, Confluence, and other collaboration tools.

• Drive improvements in infrastructure, operations, security, and compliance.

• Automate repetitive tasks and develop sustainable, efficient IT practices.

• Support a primarily remote workforce, with occasional needs from our Malmö office.

• Work closely with Operations to support smooth onboarding/offboarding experiences.

• You will report directly to the CTO.

Your profile

• Proven experience in internal IT support, infrastructure, and operations.

• Strong hands-on experience with Linux server environments (e.g., Debian, Ubuntu, RedHat/CoreOS).

• Solid understanding of IT security and compliance in a distributed setup.

• Experience managing virtual machines and VM systems.

• Confident managing and troubleshooting network systems and SaaS tools.

• Passion for automation, scalability, and continuous process improvement.

• Proactive, collaborative, and service-minded with a strong attention to detail.

• Fluent in English at a C1 level or higher – excellent communication is key.

• Familiarity with Apple and Windows device management tools (Jamf, Intune)
