FitXR is a fitness technology company working at the cutting edge of VR and MR, building a movement for movement.

We started life in 2016 in a garden shed in the UK. Today, we’re building FitXR, one of the top-downloaded apps on the Meta Quest store. We’ve raised close to $30m from top investors such as Maveron, Hiro, and BoostVC.

TLDR

We are looking for a Head of Production to manage the delivery of the roadmap and multiple production teams inside the company, particularly Art and Design.

This is a high-profile role within the organisation and you will work closely with cross-functional Leads, Senior Leadership Team and CEO.

Where you’ll spend your time

• Work closely with the Product team to align workstreams to the roadmap.

• Facilitate production requirements and resources across Design, and Art teams, including working with the Talent team to hire top talent and managing third-party studios.

• Responsible for the delivery of all Art and Design work across all workstreams (working alongside the Product Managers).

• Working with the Creative Director, Art Director and 3D Lead to plan and execute all necessary 2D, 3D, VFX and animation requirements.

• Working with SLT, Finance, Creative Director, and others on managing the budgets for Art and Design.

• Integral role in activating our product strategy, working with external brands and partners as needed.

• Take ownership of internal production processes, including creating processes for team and production optimisation.

We’d love to see from you

• Extensive experience as in Head of Production, Executive Producer, Producer role inside production teams in XR product companies, creative studios, etc.

• Extensive experience working in a senior role managing a diverse team of producers or product managers, designers, animators, technical artists and engineers.

• Experience managing products or projects in XR, Unity, and 3D production.

Logistics 🛠

Our interview process takes place on Google Hangouts and tends to consist of the following stages:

• Initial screen with the talent team

• Hiring Manager / technical interview

• Collaborative task stage

• Founder / Exec Interview
