Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Head of Production to join our fully remote team. You will work closely with the Epicenter hosts to shape content, manage all aspects of production, and drive audience growth. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a foundational voice in the crypto ecosystem and help chronicle its ongoing evolution.
This position is initially part time (20 hours per week ca.).
Content & Guest Coordination: Collaborate with hosts on compelling topic selection and guest identification within the crypto landscape; manage guest communications and scheduling.
End-to-End Production: Oversee the recording, editing, and mastering of audio and video podcast episodes to a high professional standard for publication across various platforms.
Social Content & Reach Expansion: Create engaging short-form content (clips, audiograms, visuals) from episodes to maximize reach and engagement on key social media networks.
Visual Branding: Design and produce captivating episode artwork, thumbnails, and promotional graphics aligned with Epicenter's established brand.
Audience Growth & Analytics: Track episode and audience analytics to identify trends, develop and implement data-driven growth strategies to expand Epicenter's listenership and viewership.
Crypto-Fluent & Passionate: Possesses a strong understanding of and genuine enthusiasm for the cryptocurrency, blockchain, DeFi, and Web3 ecosystems, their history, and current trends.
Production Pro: Demonstrable experience in end-to-end podcast production (audio and video), including recording, editing (e.g., Adobe Audition, Descript, Premiere Pro), mixing, and mastering, showcased by a strong portfolio.
Visually Creative: Proficient in creating professional and engaging artwork and thumbnails (e.g., using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
Growth-Oriented Strategist: Proven ability to analyze podcast analytics, devise, and execute effective strategies for audience growth and engagement.
Social Media Savvy: Skilled in creating and curating compelling short-form content tailored for various social media platforms to promote podcast visibility.
Organized & Collaborative Communicator: Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple timelines, coupled with strong communication skills to work effectively with hosts and guests in a remote setting.
