Are you passionate about leveraging HR technology to improve the employee experience, streamline operations, and drive data-driven decision-making? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments where you can own, optimize, and expand critical systems?

At Chainguard, we’re scaling rapidly, and we need an HRIS Manager to ensure our HR systems and data infrastructure are accurate, efficient, and set up for long-term success.

This role is more than just maintaining an HRIS—it’s about driving system improvements, integrations, and automation to meet evolving business needs. You will serve as the go-to expert for our People Team tech stack, ensuring that our HR systems support our people, processes, and strategic objectives.

This is a high-impact individual contributor role with the potential to grow into team leadership as our People function expands. If you have deep expertise in HR systems administration, data integrity, and process optimization, this is your opportunity to shape the HR technology foundation of a high-growth company

What You’ll Do:

  • Process Optimization: Partner with HR, Payroll, IT, and other stakeholders to design and implement scalable, efficient processes within the HRIS.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Build and maintain reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making for leaders across the organization.
  • System Enhancements: Evaluate, test, and implement new features, modules, and system updates to improve functionality and user experience.
  • Training & Documentation: Develop and deliver training resources, user guides, and best practices to improve adoption and maximize system usage.
  • Data Integrity: Maintain data accuracy and compliance with data privacy regulations; establish governance standards and conduct regular audits.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with Workday and third-party vendors for technical support, issue resolution, and enhancement projects.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of experience administering HRIS platforms, preferably in high-growth or global environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience with system configuration, reporting, and troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced setting.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Clear and collaborative communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with Workday administration, including multiple modules (Core HCM, Advance Compensation, Benefits, Performance, etc.).
  • Familiarity with HR processes across the full employee lifecycle.
  • Experience with HRIS integrations and data governance best practices.
  • Understanding of compliance and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

Why You’ll Love It Here:

  • Fast-Paced Growth: You’ll be building processes and infrastructure that scale with us as we expand.
  • People-First Culture: Our HR systems are built to enhance—not hinder—the employee experience.
  • Collaboration & Trust: Work closely with HR, Finance, and IT leadership to deliver strategic initiatives.
