Job Description

The I/O Operator at One Studio performs a wide range of tasks across all Trailer Park Group Divisions. Responsibilities include sending and receiving internal and external assets, transcoding, and organizing final deliverables and file transfer systems. This in-person role handles high-security titles and requires maintaining project media, managing approval links, distributing hard drives, and ensuring compliance with security procedures. The position is based on-site in Los Angeles, California, with hours from 12 PM to 8:30 PM.
Must have:
  • Create projects for editors with all project’s media and client’s branding.
  • Maintain Wiredrive Library of finals for producer presentations.
  • Maintain and organize public facing approval links through Frame I/O.
  • Manage and distribute hard drives, passcodes, and media received from client.
  • Maintain a master list of cuts sent to the client along with the materials ingested.
  • Request space to be added to server workspaces if over 85% capacity.
  • Responsible for any migration efforts of the legacy content or new business unit content.
  • Learn and follow Trailer Park’s organization of network, SAN storage and asset management.
  • Learn and follow Trailer Park’s security requirements and procedures.
  • 1+ years of experience preferably within a theatrical marketing environment.
  • Expert experience with video conversion tools (Quicktime Pro, MPEG Streamclip, Content Agent, DaVinci).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite Office Suite especially Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of delivery types (Aspera Faspex, Frame I/O, Wiredrive, and Media Shuttle).
  • Ability to trouble shoot and solve problems with the discernment to know when to ask for help.
  • Willingness and ability to work overtime with little notice.
  • Willingness to work “on-call” a few weekends out of the year (paid).

Trailer Park is uniquely positioned to create, market, and distribute content for its diverse client portfolio of top entertainment studios and major brands by combining storytelling expertise with large-scale production resources. With content creation at the center, we support our clients with strategy, creativity, and the latest digital services.

The I/O Operator at One Studio requires the person to perform a wide range of tasks across all the Trailer Park Group Divisions. Tasks include sending and receiving assets (internal & external), transcoding assets, organization of final deliverables and our file transfer systems. This is an in-person position due to the handling of high-security titles.

This position is based on-site at our Los Angeles, California office. Hours: 12p-8:30pm.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
