As the Identity & Access Management – Subject matter expert, you will be responsible for delivering product value by understanding stakeholder needs and coordinating authentication capabilities. You will implement the roadmap and support initiatives focused on standardizing and improving IAM processes and technologies while managing risk. Your responsibilities include mitigating access control risks, implementing access control vision and strategy, identifying trends, defining plans for gaps, driving access control policies, and supporting process design. You will also be involved in improving security services, managing stakeholder expectations, defining user stories, gathering requirements, and ensuring alignment with policies. The role involves balancing demands, implementing access control capabilities, and managing third-party vendors.
Must have:
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Conditional Access, MFA, and Federation
  • 5 years of experience in information security
  • BS degree is required; MS degree is desired
  • Experience with large multinational companies deploying security
  • Familiarity with ISO 27001 standards and NIST framework
  • Full professional proficiency in English

Job Description

As the Identity & Access Management – Subject matter expert you are responsible for delivering product value by working with stakeholders to understand their needs and driving and coordinating the capabilities and product backlog for authentication. As the subject matter expert you will implement the roadmap and support initiatives focused on standardization and continuous improvement of ‘IAM processes and technologies’ and managing risk while maintaining a strong business focus.

Your role:

  • Ensure that risks related to access control are sufficiently mitigated
  • Ensure that access control vision & strategy is implemented by assisting with development of the authentication capability roadmap
  • Identify relevant new trends and techniques to extend current capabilities in access control
  • Identify maturity gaps and lack of coverage in current capabilities and define plan to remediate
  • Drive access control by assisting with development of policies, standards, baselines
  • Support BPO and BPE with design of processes and procedures
  • Improve security services by working with Domain lead, architects, SME’s and Service Delivery Manager to better meet stakeholder needs, makes proposals for new services
  • Assist in managing stakeholder expectations of access control initiatives, define user stories and acceptance criteria, create product backlog and take active part in customer testing
  • Gather business and technical requirements, assisting with business and technical design/architecture and ensure it’s aligned with policies, processes and architecture principles.
  • Balance and prioritize the demand in alignment with stakeholders
  • Ensure that access control capabilities are implemented according to approved designs


 

You're the right fit if you are/have:

  • Knowledge of and experience with the following technologies: Microsoft Conditional Access, Multi-Factor Authentication and Federation
  • 5 years previous experience within information security
  • BS equivalent degree required; MS or other advanced degree highly desired
  • Previous experience working within a large multinational company deploying information security capabilities
  • Familiarity with ISO 27001 standards and NIST framework
  • Full professional proficiency in English.
  • Desire to constantly learn, improve, and drive results
  • Ability to perform critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Strong customer orientation and an excellent team player
  • Work independently and maintain a high-degree of professional conduct
  • Strong communication, persuasion, and presentation skills, ability to drive change and manage stakeholders within a complex organization
  • Affinity for an engineering culture that emphasizes Agile, DevOps, and continuous delivery
  • Prioritize Tasks Effectively to meet deadlines and deliverables.
  • Has experience managing the work of 3rd parties that have been contracted to deliver information security capabilities

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.​ Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.​
