Job Description

You will explore and implement emerging technologies like AI, blockchain, and IoT. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining robust automation frameworks, creating and executing automated test scripts, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, tracking defects, mentoring junior engineers, and identifying quality improvement initiatives.
Must have:
  • Develop and maintain robust automation frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress).
  • Create automated test scripts for functional, regression, performance, and load testing.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Bamboo, GitLab CI).
  • Log defects in a tracking system and work with developers to resolve issues.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA engineers.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile testing trends and technologies.
  • Extensive experience with Automation Tools.
  • Experience with Version Control: Git/Github.
Good to have:
  • Knowledge on performance testing using Loadrunner/Jmeter.

Responsibilities:

1. Automation Framework Development: Develop and maintain robust automation frameworks using tools such as Playwright(preferrable),Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar. Ensure frameworks are scalable, maintainable, and reusable across different projects.

2. Test Script Creation and Execution: Create automated test scripts for functional, regression, performance, and load testing.

3. Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, or GitLab CI.

4. Defect Tracking and Reporting: Log defects in a tracking system and work with developers to resolve issues. Generate reports on test coverage, defect trends, and quality metrics for stakeholders.

5. Mentoring and Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA engineers. Lead or participate in code reviews and ensure best practices are followed.

6. Quality Improvement Initiatives: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance the quality of deliverables. Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to apply new practices.

7. Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile testing trends and technologies.

8. Good to have : Knowledge on performance testing using Loadrunner/Jmeter

Mandatory skill sets: Extensive experience with Automation Tools : Playwright(preferrable), Selenium WebDriver, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, or Cypress. -Version Control : Git/Github
