SUMMARY

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Industry Marketing Manager – Energy Industry and Solutions to lead energy-specific marketing strategy, demand generation, and thought leadership initiatives. This role will focus on positioning our energy-related simulation solutions effectively, working closely with sales, product marketing, and customer success teams. The ideal candidate has a strong background in B2B technology marketing, understands complex technical sales cycles, and has experience driving energy-related marketing programs.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Energy Vertical GTM Strategy: Work with the GTM Strategy team and our Energy Center of Excellence to develop and execute targeted marketing strategies to drive awareness and demand along with adoption of our simulation software within the Energy industry.
  • Market Positioning & Messaging: Define general and persona-specific, compelling, industry-specific messaging for the Energy industry that highlights the value of simulation in solving engineering challenges.
  • Demand Generation: Develop and drive demand generation activities. Partner with digital marketing and field marketing teams to create programs that generate pipeline and revenue growth.
  • Thought Leadership: Collaborate with the Energy CTO, technical experts and industry influencers to create content, webinars, and speaking opportunities that establish our company as a market leader and support our energy-based initiatives.
  • Sales Enablement: Create sales tools, case studies, and competitive insights that help the sales team engage energy industry decision-makers effectively.
  • Customer Advocacy: Work with sales and customer success teams to identify and amplify customer success stories through various marketing channels.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product marketing, corporate marketing, and regional marketing teams to align strategies and drive execution.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor energy industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform marketing strategies and product positioning.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in B2B technology marketing, with a focus on energy-related or industry-specific marketing, product marketing, or demand generation.
  • Proven success in marketing enterprise software, preferably in simulation, engineering, CAD/CAE, or related domains.
  • Strong understanding of complex technical sales cycles and ability to craft messaging that resonates with engineers and technical buyers.
  • Experience collaborating with sales teams to develop and execute GTM plans that drive revenue growth.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into compelling marketing narratives.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to measure and optimize marketing effectiveness.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
