Job Description

Assystem is dedicated to accelerating the global energy transition by providing low-carbon energy solutions, including nuclear, renewables, and hydrogen. The Infrastructure Design Manager will ensure technical design adherence to scope, coordinate design disciplines, drive technical progress, resolve bottlenecks, perform QA/QC, ensure regulatory compliance, manage risks, process changes, facilitate design reviews, and monitor consultant progress. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and hands-on experience with Civil 3D, BIM, and PPT.

Must Have:
  • Ensure technical design outputs strictly adhere to the approved scope, project brief, and Basis of Design (BOD).
  • Coordinate technical interfaces between various design disciplines (e.g., Civil, Utilities, Structures) to ensure seamless integration.
  • Drive the day-to-day technical progress and execution of the design consultant team to meet critical RIBA stage deadlines.
  • Manage and resolve design bottlenecks and technical conflicts between stakeholders and disciplines to maintain the schedule.
  • Perform detailed Quality Assurance (QA/QC) checks on all RIBA stage deliverables, drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Verify that the design is compliant with all relevant authority standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and log technical risks related to constructability, site conditions, and design interfaces, and implement mitigation plans.
  • Evaluate and process all Requests for Change (RFCs) and design variations, documenting the technical impact and maintaining scope integrity.
  • Facilitate design review meetings with technical stakeholders, ensuring all comments are documented, actioned, and formally closed out.
  • Monitor the design consultant’s progress against their fee schedule and report on the technical earned value of deliverables produced.
  • Bachelor degree in Engineering

Job Description
