Job Summary

Valeo, a global tech company, is seeking an Innovation Intern in Human Factors for a 6-month internship starting February 2026 at its Annemasse R&D and production site. The intern will join the innovation team to prepare, implement, and analyze ergonomic and technical tests related to user perception and detection system reliability in real situations. This role involves preparing test protocols, administering experimental tests on a demonstrator vehicle, and analyzing results, bridging academic research and industrial application.

Must Have

  • Preparing a Master 2 degree in Cognitive Psychology-Ergonomics-Cognitive Sciences
  • Experience in conducting tests on simulator or vehicle (ideally at least two tests)
  • Experience in collecting and coding data (interviews, heart rates, behavioral data on simulator)
  • Experience in processing results with specific statistical software
  • Knowledge of the state of the art on emotions, stress, fatigue
  • Knowledge of the use of an ECG, EEG or eyetracker

To meet these challenges, we offer you the opportunity to join the Annemasse site in Haute Savoie (74), near Geneva. This R&D center and production site designs and industrializes switches (power windows, sunroof or rearview mirror controls, etc.), control panels, and touch screens for automobiles.

You will work within the innovation team of the Annemasse site, as part of a 6-month internship starting in February 2026. Your main mission will be to prepare, implement, and analyze the results of ergonomic (user perception) and technical (data collection on the reliability of the detection system in real situations) tests.

Your challenges?

At the crossroads of academic research and the industrial environment, the intern is responsible for preparing, implementing, and analyzing the results of ergonomic (user perception) and technical (data collection on the reliability of the detection system in real situations) tests. The mission includes the following parts:

  • Prepare discussions around the creation of test protocols (choices, experimental plan, underlying theoretical models).
  • Administer experimental tests on a demonstrator vehicle.
  • Analyze a small part of the results and discuss the underlying interpretation.

Let's talk about you…

  • You are preparing a Master 2 degree in Cognitive Psychology-Ergonomics-Cognitive Sciences.
