Job Summary

Valeo is seeking a Site Supply Chain Manager (m/f/d) for its Fischbach site near Ebern. The role involves strategic and operational management of the entire supply chain, including procurement, inventory, and logistics. Responsibilities include implementing and optimizing logistics systems, ensuring timely deliveries and quality, and optimizing material management to reduce costs. The manager will collaborate with production planning, continuously analyze and improve operations, and manage supply chain risks and customs clearance.

Must Have

  • Strategic and operational management of the entire supply chain at the site
  • Responsibility for procurement, inventory management, and logistics
  • Implementation and optimization of logistics systems and processes
  • Ensuring effective logistical control to meet delivery dates and quality standards
  • Optimizing material management to reduce inventory and costs
  • Close collaboration with production planning and control to ensure efficient material supply
  • Continuous analysis and improvement of supply chain operations
  • Development and implementation of measures to increase efficiency in Supply Chain Management (SCM)
  • Risk management within the supply chain
  • Customs clearance
  • Completed degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in Supply Chain Management, ideally in the automotive industry
  • Profound knowledge in procurement, inventory management, and logistics
  • Experience with the implementation and application of logistics systems
  • Strong understanding of logistical control and material management
  • Proven experience in collaboration with production planning and control
  • Practical experience in supply chain operations and process optimization
  • Proficient in common SCM tools and ERP systems
  • Fluent German and good English skills in spoken and written
