Job Summary
The intern will support the Transport & Warehouse Manager in updating transport protocols for the implementation and deployment of the Transport Management System (TMS) across French and Belgian VALEO sites. This involves on-site data collection and verification of logistics data such as pallet dimensions, weights, stackability, transport volume and frequency, cut-off booking for suppliers and carriers, and retrieving actual invoicing and associated tariff grids. A training week will precede the mission.
Must Have
- Update transport protocols for TMS deployment on French and Belgian sites
- Travel to Valeo sites (Le Hainaut, Sens, Blois, Angers)
- Collect and verify on-site logistics data (pallet dimensions/weight/stackability, transport volume & frequency, cut-off booking, invoicing, tariff grids)
- Verify supplier contacts with the site
- Bachelor program with a specialization in Logistic Management
- Fluent in English (written and oral)

Your challenges?
Within the Logistics Department, you will support the Transport & Warehouse Manager on:
- Updating transport protocols as part of the implementation and deployment of the Transport Management System on French and Belgian VALEO sites.
In this context, the person will have to travel to the following sites:
- Valeo Le Hainaut Belgium (finalization of protocols)
- Valeo Sens (creation of all transport protocols)
- Valeo Blois and/or Angers (creation of all transport protocols)
Presence on the sites is mandatory because the purpose of this mission is to be able to retrieve and verify on site logistics data such as:
- Pallet dimensions/weight/stackability
- Transport volume & frequency
- Supplier and carrier Cut-off Booking
- Retrieval of actual invoicing and associated tariff grids
- Verify supplier contacts with the site
A first week of training with Mr. Raynal Julien will be necessary to understand the mission's expectations, to be trained in transport protocols and the basics of the TMS application.
About you...
- You are in a Bachelor program, with a specialization in Logistic Management
- A first experience in Supply-Chain is a plus
- You are curious, rigorous, proactive, creative, reactive
- Our environment being highly international, fluent English (written and oral) is essential
