Job Summary
This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a research and implementation project focused on the digitalization of logistics processes within Valeo Power Division. The intern will be immersed in innovative industrial challenges in an international context, at the intersection of mobile robotics and AI integrated into the supply chain. Key missions include process mapping, automation analysis, programming, data analysis for AI model training, and project management.
Must Have
- Map existing processes and identify automation opportunities.
- Analyze flows and improvement opportunities (routes, loading/unloading zones).
- Determine suitable AMR types and size fleets.
- Anticipate environmental risks and constraints, propose solutions.
- Utilize programming languages (Python, R, C++, SQL).
- Technically analyze selected hardware (navigation, safety).
- Configure communication between AMRs and other systems (WMS).
- Collect, clean, and prepare data for AI model training.
- Perform exploratory analyses to identify trends and relationships.
- Identify and quickly resolve complex technical and human issues.
- Understand supply chain mechanisms and gain a global project vision.
- Adapt to the environment, design and track planning.
- Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary and international teams.
- Translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Student in engineering school.
- First experience in industrial and/or supply chain environment desired.
- Knowledge of industrial methods, automation logic, and robotics principles.
- In-depth knowledge of artificial intelligence.
- Proficiency in English (C1 level desired).
Good to Have
- Mastery of Google Suite (BigQuery, Google Sheets, Looker Studio).

The Valeo Site based in Cergy (95) is the headquarters of the Valeo Power Division. This Research & Development center brings together 800 employees around the design of electric propulsion systems (inverter, on-board charger, etc.).
We are recruiting a Supply Chain AI Projects intern.
The successful candidate will actively contribute to a research and implementation project as part of the digitalization of logistics processes. This internship offers a unique opportunity to be immersed in innovative industrial challenges in an international context, at the crossroads of mobile robotics and AI integrated into the supply chain.
Main missions and expected skills:
1. Planning and analysis:
- Map existing processes and identify automation opportunities.
- Analyze flows and improvement opportunities: routes, loading/unloading areas, integration with other equipment.
- Determine the type of suitable AMR (towing, stacking, etc.) and size the fleets.
- Anticipate environmental risks and constraints and plan solutions (safety, navigation, breakdowns).
2. Programming and automation:
- Use programming languages (Python, R, C++, SQL).
- Technically analyze selected hardware (navigation, safety, etc.).
- Configure communication between AMRs and other systems (such as Warehouse Management System, etc.).
3. Data analysis and AI:
- Collect, clean, and prepare data to train AI models.
- Perform exploratory analyses to identify trends and relationships.
4. Project management and teamwork:
- Identify and quickly resolve complex issues (technical, human, etc.).
- Understand supply chain mechanisms and acquire a global vision of the project.
- Adapt to the environment, know how to design a schedule and monitor it in detail.
- Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary and international teams. Popularize technical concepts for decision-makers and non-technical teams.
Desired profile:
- Engineering school student.
- First experience in an industrial and/or supply chain environment desired.
- Knowledge of industrial methods, automation logic, and robotics principles.
- In-depth knowledge of artificial intelligence.
- Mastery of the Google suite (such as BigQuery, Google Sheets, Looker Studio, etc.) is a plus.
- Proficiency in English (C1 level desired, due to the international context).

- Rigor and attention to detail.
- Analytical mind and practical sense.
- Open mind with ease of working in a team in a multidisciplinary environment (maintenance, production, logistics, suppliers).
