Configuration Management Officer - M/F

Join the SIAM Competence Center team at Thales LAS France, responsible for System Configuration Management across IAS, AMS, and VTS domains. This role involves establishing configuration management strategies, creating client deliverables, setting up configuration repositories, participating in project meetings, organizing Change Control Boards, ensuring data integrity during technical reviews, and conducting configuration audits. The ideal candidate has a BAC+5 degree and at least 5 years of experience in Configuration Management processes, proficiency with PLM tools like PALMA (PTC Windchill), VBA, and continuous improvement. Strong innovation, rigor, pragmatism, and commitment are essential.

Must Have

• Establish the Configuration Management strategy to meet project contractual requirements
• Produce client deliverables related to configuration
• Establish configuration repositories
• Participate in project/product meetings with all stakeholders
• Organize and lead Change Control Boards
• Participate in technical development reviews to ensure data integrity (DDQS Milestone)
• Conduct configuration audits (FCA/PCA) and participate in certification audits
• At least 5 years of experience in Configuration Management Process
• Experience with a PLM tool (Product Lifecycle Management) like PALMA (PTC Windchill)
• Proficiency in VBA
• Experience in continuous improvement

Within the common SIAM Competence Center of Thales LAS France (Land and Air System), you will join the System Configuration Management team, which is responsible for Configuration Management for the IAS, AMS, and VTS domains.

Configuration Management is at the heart of the company; it ensures the integrity of system and product data throughout the life cycle.

In relation with project team members (Program Management, engineering, qualification, hardware and software production/development, support and in-service maintenance), you contribute to the development, production, and delivery of products to our clients.
