Job Summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Customer Education Specialist to deliver training on complex software products, including Motorola Flex, to agency customers and end-users. This remote role requires over 75% travel within the US to conduct on-site and remote training sessions. Responsibilities include presenting training, managing communication, coordinating information, and completing reports. Candidates must have a high school diploma and at least one year of experience with Motorola Flex software.

Must Have

  • Teach and instruct agency customers/end users on complex software products and services
  • Conduct on-site and remote training for Motorola Flex and third-party software
  • Present training using various classroom methods
  • Complete department-required reports within set standards
  • Manage communication with customer contacts regarding training schedules
  • Coordinate customer (agency) information between trainers
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience working with Motorola Flex Product
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to pass a stringent fingerprint background check (CJIS Security Policy)
  • U.S. citizen with ability to obtain necessary security clearance
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely
  • Ability to travel over 75% to customer sites in the US

Job Description

Note: This is a remote role with 75% + of travel to customer sites in the US. Candidates my reside anywhere in the United States.

Responsibilities of the Customer Education Specialist include but are not limited to:

  • Teaching and instructing agency customers/end users and staff on the use and operating methods of complex software products and services
  • Conducting on-site and remote training for the Motorola Flex software and the designated third-party software
  • Presenting training using a variety of classroom training methods, including lectures, flip charts, online projection, etc.
  • Completing department-required reports within set standards
  • Managing communication with customer contact(s) related to the training schedule
  • Coordinating customer (agency) information between trainers
  • Operates under supervision from the Customer Education Lead
  • Relying on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience working with Motorola Flex Product
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Experience with Motorola Flex Administration preferred
  • This position is subject to working in high security areas governed by the US Department of Justice's "Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy". It therefore requires successfully passing a more stringent fingerprint background check administered by Motorola Solutions Inc. customers.

Target Base Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 USD

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.

Basic Requirements

  • This position is subject to working in high security areas governed by the US Department of Justice's "Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy" and therefore requires successfully passing a more stringent fingerprint background check administered by Motorola Solutions Inc. customers.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contract.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
