Job Summary
Valeo is seeking a Supply Chain Manager (M/F) for its Amiens site. This role involves leading and managing the site's Supply Chain team and activities, including customer service, production planning, material procurement, and logistics. The manager will ensure the execution of material planning and production control processes, manage physical and information flows, deploy continuous improvement standards, and maintain system data reliability and inventory accuracy. The position also includes driving supply chain activities for new projects and comprehensive reporting, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance.
Must Have
- Manage and lead the Site Supply Chain team and activities.
- Perform annual appraisals, recruitment, coaching, and competency assessment.
- Define and drive the supply chain budget.
- Ensure full execution of Material Planning and Production Control standard processes (SIOP/MPS/MRP).
- Ensure quality of customer deliveries and vendor delivery plans.
- Control all physical and information flows, both internally and externally.
- Apply and deploy Valeo 5 axes standards, methodologies, and tools.
- Ensure inventory accuracy for all stocks (RM, WIP, FG).
- Ensure reliability of the Information System and set logistics parameters.
- Drive Supply Chain activities for new projects introduction.
- Measure and report Key Performance Indicators on supply chain and logistics perimeter.
- Ensure Safety, Quality and Compliance rules are fully applied.

Lead and manage the Site Supply Chain team and activities:
- Manage the whole team (indirect and direct labor) related to supply chain & logistics activities: customer service, production planning, material procurement, receiving and shipping, lines feeding and picking, continuous improvement team)
- Perform annual appraisal and mid-year interviews, SDP & career path, recruitments, coaching, assess competencies level to build training plan, enhance the multitasking & multi-skills of its team
- Deploy the Group Standard Organization within Supply Chain
- Perform the regular reviews and meetings (5’, QRQC, monthly, …);
- Define and drive its budget (H/C and costs);
Lead and ensure the Material Planning and Production Control activities:
- Ensure the full execution of Material Planning and Production Control standards processes (SIOP/MPS/MRP, Demand Arbitration and Management, Material Procurement, …);
- Ensure the quality of customer deliveries and of vendor delivery plan in terms of deadlines, quantities and costs
- Ensure the regular interface with Customers and Suppliers;
- Alert and escalate any deviations and risks of Customers Delivery shortages, through 5’, QRQC meetings and standard Group Logistics Red Alert tool;
Manage the Material Physical Flows (intra site and external flows):
- Control all physical flows (including freight) and information flows, both internally and externally
Deploy standards and tools leading to improve continuously the logistics performance:
- Apply and deploy the Valeo 5 axes standards, methodologies and tools
Ensure the reliability and accuracy of systems master data, settings and inventory:
- Ensure the inventory accuracy for the total stocks (RM, WIP, FG) of the plant
- Ensure the reliability of the Information System and set the logistics parameters
Drive the Supply Chain activities of new projects introduction;
Ensure the reporting activity (Site, PG, Group level):
- Measure and report the Key Performance Indicators on supply chain and logistics perimeter following the standards
- Ensure the Safety, Quality and Compliance rules are fully applied within the site
