Position Overview:

The Inside Solutions Architect (ISA) – UC & Collaboration is a presales resource who leads the consultative discovery of client goals, objectives, and challenges, then translates them into effective Unified Communications and Collaboration (UC & Collab) technology solutions. The ISA plays a critical role in driving revenue growth and improving margins through tailored solutioning within their domain. As a trusted technical advisor and subject matter expert, the ISA collaborates with sales teams, external customers, and vendor partners to design and recommend advanced UC & Collab solutions, ensuring technical excellence and customer satisfaction.

What you’ll do as the Inside Solutions Architect – UC & Collaboration:

Employees employed in the role of Inside Solutions Architect – UC & Collaboration shall be required to apply their independent mind and demonstrate intellectual abilities in their decision-making.

• Assist sales teams in presales activities, including gathering customer requirements and supporting solution design.
• Support the creation of Bill of Materials (BoM), quote generation, and solution validation for UC & Collab technologies.
• Develop a working knowledge of UC & Collab platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex, Zoom, Voice and Video systems, Contact Center solutions, and integrated meeting room technologies.
• Stay informed about industry trends, emerging UC & Collab technologies, and vendor offerings.
• Participate in discovery calls to understand customer needs and contribute to appropriate UC & Collab solution designs.
• Assist in reviewing configurations, designs, and quotes before delivery to ensure accuracy and alignment with customer requirements.
• Support the identification of upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the UC & Collab solution portfolio.
• Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude and take initiative to improve internal processes, knowledge sharing, and documentation.
• Work towards achieving relevant certifications to enhance technical expertise and support vendor relationships in the UC & Collab space.
• Build familiarity with the company's services catalog and UC & Collab solutions.

What you will bring to the team:

The following are the experience and key skills required for the position:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field – or equivalent experience.

Certification Requirements:

• At least one vendor competency certification in Microsoft Teams, Cisco Collaboration, Zoom, or other UC&C platforms is preferred.
• Microsoft Teams Administrator Associate, Cisco CCNA Collaboration, or equivalent certification is a plus.

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 2+ years in a sales and/or IT implementation/support role.
• Basic understanding of Unified Communications & Collaboration technologies and solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop technical and presales expertise in UC & Collab.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with sales teams, vendor partners, and customers.
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.

Key Metrics That Will Measure and Define Success for This Role:

• Contribution to sales growth and attainment of team revenue and margin targets.
• Ability to support technical UC & Collab solution design and customer engagement.
• Achievement of relevant industry certifications.
• Development of technical and business knowledge to support sales efforts in UC & Collab technologies.
